Mr. Devin B. Thomas is an engaging speaker who uses a blend of humor and real life experiences to motivate teens and adults from all walks of life.

He began as a youth counselor working with a vast array of teens in Group Homes, Foster Homes, and Juvenile Hall. During this time, he developed a passion for working with individuals from diverse cultures and socio-economic backgrounds. Mr. Thomas then progressed into education as a middle and high school teacher, as well as coaching football, softball and basketball. He quickly advanced into administration becoming an Athletic Director, which led to him presiding over student discipline as Vice Principal, soon after moving into the position of Principal. Eventually at the collegiate level, he taught prospective counsellors and administrators how to work with assorted students and parents.

These experiences have given Mr. Thomas an in-depth knowledge of how to, not only support, but also motivate youth and adults from a variety of backgrounds.

His expertise includes developing a culture, cultivating leadership qualities, creating an efficiently-structured collaborative team, as well as encouraging people to understand diverse perspectives. His extensive experience has led to a variety of speaking engagements, including: high school assemblies, graduations, educational seminars, banquets, youth camps, youth groups, churches, adult retreats, and college guest lectures.

Mr. Thomas is passionate about motivating educators, students, parents, coaches and athletes to strive for their highest capabilities. He firmly believes everyone has untapped potential, which supports the message he calls “Unknown Dreams.” His purpose is to communicate that while we all have a destiny, many of us are unaware of the benefits of being exposed to various cultures and experiences, recognizing that personal growth often comes from unexpected sources.
